This is an invitation to join SANS on a Florida Road walk on WEDNESDAY 14 JULY 2021.

Some members have been on Alison’s city walks and highly recommend the experience. As a member of our society Alison has agreed to lead this
walk at a very reduced rate R150pp. This includes tea and a pastry.

ITINERARY

We meet at 9am at the Blue Zoo entrance to Mitchell Park where a car guard will be on duty. A public toilet is available
to the right of Blue Zoo.
We walk through the park with a stop at the Heritage Monuments. We then walk down Florida Rd ending at Hollis
House where we will enjoy tea and a pastry. The walk will include interesting places along the way such as the tram
shelter, Edwardian Houses, Florida Fields, Cecile & Boyd and some of the vibey new cafes too.
At 11am we take a slow walk back up the hill to our vehicles.
