Dear SANS Members and Friends,

This is an outline of the SANS Events Diary for the remainder of 2021, so I would ask you to please diarise if you are interested in attending any of the following:

WEDNESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER : The Florida Road Walk with Alison Chadwick. Participants are reminded that we meet at 9h00 at the Blue Zoo entrance to Mitchell Park.We look forward to good weather (third time lucky!) and an enjoyable morning.

SATURDAY 16 OCTOBER  :  9h30

THE KILLIE CAMPBELL BURSARY will be presented at a function to be held at Muckleneuk / Killie Campbell Museum. Our guest speaker will be Juliette Leeb Du-Toit and her topic is the history of isiShweshwe.

SATURDAY 20 NOVEMBER  : 12h00

The AGM of the SA National Society will be held this year in the St Cyprian’s Church Hall and our guest speaker is well known Durban actor and stage personality Mr Peter Court.

A detailed notice of the AGM will be sent out in October.

 

There will also be a meeting in December at a date yet to be finalised.

Now that lockdown measures have been eased, we look forward to a good attendance at the above functions.

After a difficult year, SANS is finally back on track!
