Durban North – Journeys End Shellhole 1939.

The Journeys End Shellhole’s original home in Durban North is now occupied by the Durban North Post Office. The hall with its foundation stones can be seen from Kensington Avenue.

The Moths moved to Sunfield Place in 2009 after  having no home for 27 years. They sold this property to the Post Office in 1982, and for many years utilized the Durban North Homing Pigeon Club premises before building their new home on the same property. This Shellhole had received its Charter in 1929 from MOTH founder, Charles Evenden
