2025 Dr Killie Campbell Bursary

At our recent meeting on the 20th of September, the recipient of the 2025 Dr. Killie Campbell Bursary was announced.Our winner is Ms. Sadhana Moodley who is studying for a master’s degree in Heritage and Conservation at Pretoria University.

The title of her dissertation is as follows:

“Heritage Conservation, Access, Dissociation, and Digitisation in South African Archives: The Search for the Missing Portrait Photographs of Indian Indentured Labourer’s from 1860 – 1911, Natal”.

We consider Sadhana a very worthy winner and wish her all the best in her studies towards completion of this degree. Her short biography is provided below.
