2025 Daphne Strutt Winner

Yesterday, 29 March we awarded the 2025 Daphne Strutt Prize to Mpilonhle Sithole.

Mpilo won the award for being the best second year student at the Fashion and Textiles Department, DUT. Every year SANS gives this award to the best second-year student as we know in their third year, they have to design and present a full collection of fashion garments to gain their Diploma. This can be costly and even although our prize money is not a large amount, we are sure every little helps.  Well done Mpilo, and we wish you all the best in your final year of study.
