Sunderland Flying Boat crash – Durban, 1950.
On Monday 17 April 1950, this Sunderland Flying Boat crashed in the Durban Harbour in the Maydon Channel. The channel was used as a landing point for these aircraft that were used on the route up through Africa.

Dear SANS members With sadness we have to inform our members of the passing of Naureen Craig, former Chairman, President, Honorary Life Vice President and Life Member of our Society. According to her doctor, she died peacefully in her sleep
